User Interface and Keymaps for the Realm Builder Tool on Desktop and Mobile

The Realm Builder is primarily an assembly tool, which allow user's with no prior 3d modelling experience to arrange pre-made modules to create fantastic worlds.

Desktop Version (pre-alpha)

Currently the Builder Tool only exists for desktop users, however a mobile version is in development.

Pre-Alpha UI

User Interface

This is the pre-alpha version of the user interface and is currently used for testing base functionalities. An updated UI has been designed and will be implemented for the Builder Tool alpha launch. Additional functionalities are being integrated on a daily basis.

Controls	Function
Select	Enters selection mode where already placed modules can be moved and rotated using the gizmo
Build	Enters the building mode where modules can be placed on the Gridmap. By default the build mode is set to auto-stacking
Destroy	Enters destroy where existing modules can be deleted
Up Down	Enters manual mode where the floor height (Y-axis) is set manually when placing an object
Play	Enters play mode and spawns an avatar at the location of the first spawn point smart object (red dots)
Left Right	Undo / Redo
Save	Save realm
Camera	Swtich camera mode between isometric mode and free-flying mode
Colour 1	Set sky colour
Colour 2	Set sky horizon colour
Colour 3	Set ground colour
Colour 4	Set ground colour
Fog	Enable/disable fog
Colour 5	Set fog colour
Fog Depth End	Set the proximity fog to the camera horizontally
Fog Height	Enable/disable ground fog
Fog Height Min	Set vertical height of ground fog
Inventory	Modules are split into categories. Modules with blue backgrounds are base modules (4x4) and pink backgrounds are decoration modules (1x1)
